At the ConnectWise IT Nation
Conference, EventTracker, a Netsurion company and leader in security information
and event management (SIEM), announced a new product integration with
ConnectWise Manage. The integration
between EventTracker, a ConnectWise Invent certified partner, and ConnectWise
allows IT managed service providers (MSPs) to increase productivity and deliver
managed security services in a cost-effective manner.
Through
this integration, the assignment and notification of security incidents
discovered by EventTracker SIEM is automated in ConnectWise Manage. This
empowers MSPs to use their existing agent assignment and routing rules to speed
up the notification and remediation process for security incidents. As a
result, manual error-prone processes for security incident tickets are eliminated,
leading to greater efficiency and increased profitability. Furthermore, the
two-way communication between the platforms improves incident response
collaboration with the EventTracker SOC (Security Operations Center) for MSPs
that subscribe to SIEMphonic, the managed SIEM+SOC service.
