Calgary Scientific announced that its PureWeb software
development platform supports the new AWS G3 Instances for Amazon EC2.
The PureWeb platform transforms graphics-intensive applications into
cloud-based services that can be accessed from the web or via any mobile
device. The G3 instances combine the power of the NVIDIA Tesla M60 GPU
along with more CPU power and host memory than any other cloud GPU
instance available today for workloads such as 3D rendering, 3D
visualizations, graphics-intensive remote workstations, video encoding,
and virtual reality applications.
