FSLogix,
leading innovators for enabling the enterprise virtual workspace, today
announced it has closed its Series B round, raising a total of $2.8 million. The new funding was lead by Atlanta based, Mosley Ventures, with participation from Alerion Ventures and existing angel investor, Alder Mortgage Group.
"This additional funding is being used to expand the FSLogix
executive team and accelerate product development in virtual desktop
enablement," said CEO and co-founder Kevin Goodman. "With this announcement, I'm also very pleased to announce that Andy Tynes
has joined FSLogix as Vice-President of Worldwide Sales, to lead our
global sales initiative and drive our sales growth. Andy's track record
of over 20 years of success in high-tech sales makes him a natural fit
for this role. His extensive experience in developing and executing
sales and channel expansion programs will be key in driving the next
phase of our growth and success."
Tynes joins FSLogix from Reveille Software, where he served as VP of
Worldwide Sales, and previously held executive sales positions at HP
Software, Global 360, Information Builders Inc., Actuate and Oracle
Corporation. Tynes will oversee FSLogix' global sales organization and
be responsible for integrating and aligning all of
the revenue-generating areas of FSLogix.
"I'm looking forward to working with this veteran executive and
technology team to expand our channel reach, delight our customers, and
exceed our growth targets," said Tynes. "What excites me the most is
helping enterprises transition from a legacy approach into next
generation solutions, and delivering technology that increases ROI and
streamlines IT operations."
